Empyrean Energy Notes Dempsey 1-15 Well Ready For Testing

LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas company Empyrean Energy PLC said on Monday it has been notified by the Dempsey 1-15 well operator Sacgasco Ltd that preparations are underway for the testing of Zone 3 in the well.

The test rig is mobilised and the operator is currently rigging up equipment.

Sacgasco plans to pull the current completions from the well and turn a completion which will allow access to two shallower gas filled reservoir zones, which covers an interval of over 400 feet at the same as allowing access to the currently producing Test Zone 2.

"We are pleased that the equipment to carry out the next stage of operations at Dempsey has arrived on site and look forward to updating shareholders in due course as testing commences," said Chief Executive Officer Tom Kelly.

Shares in Empyrean Energy were up 5.3% at 12.69 pence on Monday.
