(Alliance News) - Empiric Student Property PLC said Thursday that its new Chief Executive Officer Duncan Garrood will join with effect on September 28.
In addition, William Atkinson will be joining the student property firm as property director with effect on the same day.
Empiric Student first announced the appointment of Garrood as CEO in June.
Garrood is currently CEO at tenpin bowling firm Ten Entertainment Group PLC, a role he's held since 2018, and was formerly commercial director at BAA PLC, now Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd. Empiric said he oversaw the growth of World Duty Free and the commercial development of Heathrow Terminal 5.
Shares in Empiric Student were down 1.9% at 67.7 pence on Thursday in London.
