LONDON (Alliance News) - Empiric Student Property PLC on Wednesday said it has completed a deal to buy the Liberty Field student accommodation property in Camberwell in south London.
Empiric said it will pay GBP13.25 million to buy the property from Brandeaux Student Accommodation Funds. The property contains 79 self-contained studios.
"The acquisition of the Liberty Fields property represents the company's first investment in London," said Empiric Chief Executive Paul Hadaway.
"This property is of a high specification, in a good location and has a demonstrable track record of occupancy. The acquisition is in line with Empiric's investment criteria and returns profile," Hadaway added.
