(Alliance News) - Healthcare software & services provider EMIS Group PLC said trading in 2019 was in line with expectations amid the completion of its reorganisation during the second half.
EMIS said: "Trading for the year was in line with the board's expectations, with growth in both revenue and adjusted operating profit maintained at similar levels to the half year."
In the first-half, revenue grew by 7.3% to GBP79.8 million from GBP74.4 million. Adjusted operating profit was 8.3% higher at GBP18.2 million from GBP12.4 million.
During the year to December 31, EMIS said its Health unit has maintained its "leading NHS market share". Revenue from the unit is predominantly generated from work in the UK's national health service.
EMIS Enterprise, concerned with private healthcare, "continued to make good progress".
The reorganisation, which involved restructuring the business into the two segments, and investing more in internal systems, was completed during the second half of 2019.
EMIS reported "further productivity and process improvements".
The company will announce its full-year results on March 18.
Shares in the company were 0.3% higher at 1,183.00 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
