(Alliance News) - Elixirr International PLC on Monday said its profit surged in the first half of 2021 amid expansion.
The London-based consultancy reported a 77% year-on-year increase in revenue for the six months to June 30 to GBP24.0 million, with record revenue recorded in five of the six months in the period.
Pretax profit, meanwhile, more than doubled to GBP6.4 million from GBP2.6 million posted for the first half of 2020.
Elixirr said its growth in the half year was supported by a growing brand presence and "strong" market reputation. The company also said it is enhancing and expanding the services it can offer through its House of Brands, both to its core client base and to the expanded client base that has come through its acquisitions.
"Our clients remain at the core of what we do, and we are uncompromising in the service we provide to them as we continue to help them navigate their toughest business challenges - something that truly differentiates us in the consulting market," said Chief Executive Stephen Newton.
Going forward, the company said it has strong pipeline for the remainder of the year, leading to the second upgrade in board expectations for 2021 of between GBP47 million to GBP50 million of revenue.
AIM-listed Elixirr shares were trading 31% higher in London on Monday at 689.00 pence each.
