LONDON (Alliance News) - Electronic Data Processing PLC said it has decided to conduct a strategic review considering options including a sale of the company.

Electronic Data Processing, which makes software for merchants, wholesalers and distributors, has appointed BDO LLP as its financial adviser for the purposes of the strategic review.

Under UK takeover code the company is now under an offer period.

Shares in Electronic Data Processing are down 1.5% at 65.50 pence.
