LONDON (Alliance News) - Electrocomponents PLC said it has appointed an interim finance director as it continues to search for a permanent successor to Simon Boddie, who has now stepped down from the role.
Boddie resigned in May after the company revealed a fall in pretax profit for the year to the end of March. A search for a permanent successor to Boddie is ongoing, but the company said it has appointed Sally Adams as its acting finance director.
Adams has been the group financial controller of the company, which makes electronic, automation and control components.
Shares in Electrocomponents were up 3.0% to 178.00 pence on Wednesday.
