LONDON (Alliance News) - Eland Oil & Gas PLC on Friday said the maintenance work on the Opuama well Nigeria has been completed.
Eland said swabbing operations on the wellhead and christmas tree maintenance programme have been completed and Opuama-5 is now being hooked up to the Opuama flow station facilities.
Indications are that the well will produce gross production of 400-600 barrels of oil per day.
The Opuama field recorded average production uptime of 81% in the first half of 2015, Eland said, with current average gross production from the site at 2,750 barrels of oil per day.
