10th Apr 2014 09:56

LONDON (Alliance News) - EKF Diagnostics Holdings PLC Thursday said that it had raised GBP4.0 million, before expenses, in an oversubscribed share offer.

Last month, the company said it raised GBP22.0 million in a placing at 35 pence a share and said it was also looking to raise an additional GBP4.0 million through a share offer. The equity issue came as the company said it has entered into separate conditional agreements to buy US-based molecular diagnostics business Selah Genomics Inc for up to USD70.6 million and Swedish haemoglobin analysers DiaSpect Medical AB for up to GBP20.75 million.

EKF Diagnostics said Thursday that those that took part in the offer applied for 11.4 million shares at a price of 35 pence per share.

Share in the company were up 0.4% Thursday morning, trading at 34.38 pence per share.
