30th Sep 2015 13:44

LONDON (Alliance News) - EIH PLC Wednesday reported a rise in net asset value per share in the first half of 2015.

The private equity investment company said that its net asset value at June 30 was USD32.2 million and its NAV per share was 49.9 cents. This was a slight rise on the 49.8 cents it reported at December 31.

The company invests in two companies, RSB Group which is an automotive components company, and Evolvence India Fund PCC.

It said that EIF's underlying private equity funds performed well in the period.

"The directors have reviewed certain underlying financial information provided to us by EIF's investment manager and we remain confident that as EIF's underlying portfolio matures and further realisations are achieved, further cash distributions will be received," EIH said in a statement.

Shares in EIH were untraded on Wednesday, last quoted at 0.350 pence.
