LONDON (Alliance News) - EG Solutions PLC said Tuesday that it expects its performance for the full year to end-January 2015 to be ahead of its earlier expectations, with revenue in its first half beating comparative periods in 2012 and 2013.
The software company said it had recently secured further contracts from new and existing customers and has continued to build on its strong pipeline for the remainder of the year, and next year.
EG Solutions has refocused its business, hiring a number of senior staff, which it said was beginning to show benefits.
"We have made good progress in the four months since the year end. This has given the board greater confidence and visibility for the full year performance," said acting Chief Executive Elizabeth Gooch in a statement. "We still have more work to do to capitalise on the market opportunity, but believe we are starting to build momentum."
The company expects to provide further details at its interim results in September.
Shares in EG Solutions were trading up 5.7% at 65.00 pence Tuesday morning.
