Eden Research Says 3AEY Fungicide Gets Greek Market Approval

1st Sep 2015 08:12

LONDON (Alliance News) - Eden Research PLC on Tuesday said its 3AEY agrochemical product has been approved for commercial sale and use in the Greek market.

Eden said the product is a fungicide used to target disease Botrytis on grapes. It will be sold via partner K&N Efthymiadis, a local crop-protection company.

"We are very pleased to see the first approval of 3AEY coming through over the traditionally-quiet summer months. K&N Efthymiadis is a well-known and established company in Greece, and we are confident that they will prove to be a good partner to maximise the distribution of 3AEY as well as new 'Eden' agrochemical products as and when they become commercially available," said Chief Executive Sean Smith.

Eden shares were up 0.1% to 18.40 pence on Tuesday.
