LONDON (Alliance News) - Eden Research PLC on Thursday said it has signed a collaboration and licensing deal with Intellectual Ventures' Invention Development Fund to strengthen its intellectual property portfolio.
Eden, a micro-encapsulation technology company, which is in the process of commercialising its first agrochemical product, said the agreement will see the pair work together on sourcing and developing next-generation technologies for the agricultural, animal health, food ingredients, human health and personal care markets.
The pair will also look to pursue licensing opportunities from the fund's patent portfolio.
No financial details were disclosed on the agreement.
"By partnering with IDF we are helping to ensure that our partners receive the full benefits of access to Eden's technologies which are supported by a comprehensive and secure global patent portfolio," said Sean Smith, Eden's chief executive.
Eden shares were up 0.2% to 16.90 pence on Thursday.
