(Alliance News) - Eddie Stobart Logistics PLC on Monday said the "put up or shut up" deadline for DBAY Advisors Ltd to make an offer for the London-listed logistics firm has been extended.
Eddie Stobart said talks with DBAY over a possible offer continue.
In order to allow further time for these discussions, DBAY now has until November 8 to either announce a firm intention to make an offer for Eddie Stobart, or walk away.
This is the third time this month Eddie Stobart has asked for a deadline extension in relation to its talks with DBAY.
Meanwhile, rival suitor Wincanton PLC still has until November 15 to either make an offer or announce it plans not to make one.
Shares in Eddie Stobart remain suspended.
