LONDON (Alliance News) - Payments company Eckoh PLC on Wednesday said it has won a three-year secure payments contract with The Co-operative Group as it said trading in the first few months of its current financial year has been good.
Eckoh said the three-year deal with The Co-operative Group will see its CallGuard platform rolled out by the Co-Op across its electrical, legal services, finance and funeralcare divisions. No financial details were disclosed.
"We're delighted that a prestigious brand such as The Co-operative Group has selected CallGuard to ensure its payments security. Eckoh has consistently demonstrated its commitment to provide the best possible customer service and experience as well as delivering secure telephone payments," said Nik Philpot, Eckoh's chief executive.

He said the company continues to expect a strong second half of the year, in line with its traditional trends. "We remain confident that the high levels of growth seen in previous years will continue through the new financial year and beyond with current trading remaining in line with market expectations," Batterham added.
