LONDON (Alliance News) - Payments company Eckoh PLC said Tuesday it has signed a five-year contract with home shopping retailer Ideal Shopping Direct Ltd to offer a wider range of services.
Eckoh already manages the distribution of calls into Ideal Shopping's global network of contact centre operations based in the UK, US, India and the Philippines, and Ideal Shopping has been one of Eckoh's largest clients since 2005.
Eckoh said that under the new contract it will provide Ideal Shopping Direct with customer contact services across web, phone, email, social media and webchat channels. Ideal Shopping said in September 2015 it was implementing a new strategy to become an omni-channel business.
No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
"As one of our longest standing and largest clients, I'm absolutely delighted to announce this significant new agreement with Ideal Shopping. We are seeing an increasing number of organisations recognise the benefits of integrating multi-channel self-service solutions with their live contact centres to provide a unified and comprehensive service to customers," said Chief Executive Nik Philpot.
Shares in Eckoh were up 1.1% at 45.00 pence on Tuesday morning.
