LONDON (Alliance News) - Latin America-focused Echo Energy PLC on Tuesday said it begun drilling of the second exploration well in a four well back-to-back campaign at Laguna de Los Capones asset located onshore Argentina.
The oil & gas company is participating in the drilling programme as a non-operating partner and holds 50% stake in the block with other half owned by Compania General de Combustibles SA.
Shares in Echo Energy were trading 2.2% lower at 12.42 pence each on Tuesday.
The company said the second well, located in the south-eastern extent of the licence, will be drilled to a measured depth of about 1,800 metres.
