LONDON (Alliance News) - Marketing analytics firm Ebiquity PLC said on Wednesday that Morag Blazey, managing principal of its Advertising Intelligence unit, will step down from the board with immediate effect.
This follows the completion of Ebiquity's disposal of the business to Nielsen Media Research Ltd for GBP26 million.
The acquisition was first agreed in February and was approved by the UK Competitions and Markets Authority in late November.
Blazey will transfer to Nielsen as part of the deal. She has been a part of Ebiquity for nine years since 2009, and prior to that spent eight years at media agency PHD from 2000 to 2008, leaving as chief executive officer.
"I would like to thank Morag for her hard work and contribution to Ebiquity over the last 10 years. Morag previously led the UK business for Ebiquity and for the last two and a half years has been running the Advertising Intelligence practice and has been instrumental in agreeing the disposal to Nielsen. She has been a major part of the Ebiquity executive team, and I wish her the best with her future as part of Nielsen," said Chief Executive Officer Michael Karg.
Shares in Ebiquity were up 5.1% at 68.30 pence on Wednesday.
