easyJet Signs Software Deal With SafeGuard

22nd Apr 2014 10:21

LONDON (Alliance News) - easyJet PLC has signed a five-year contract with SafeGuard World International to provide its payroll services.

The low-cost airline is replacing its existing legacy systems for HR and payroll with SafeGuard's payroll services. The services are available via SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or in the cloud.

"The SGWI payroll service across Europe will provide us with a platform that will enable us to continue to deliver high accuracy in payroll and support our future growth plans. We selected SGWI as they offered the optimum mix of service quality and value for money," said Alita Benson, Group Director, People at easyJet.

Shares in easyJet were trading marginally higher Tuesday morning, up 0.77% at 1,696 pence per share.
