LONDON (Alliance News) - EasyHotel PLC Thursday said its application to gain planning permission for a proposed hotel in London has been rejected and refused by Islington Borough Council.
The company said the rejected application for planning permission related to 78 rooms of the 162 rooms to be built at 80 Old Street, London. EasyHotel said it had previously been awarded planning permission, on appeal, to convert the building into a hotel back in 2011.
"EasyHotel will be appealing this decision, a process which is expected to take at least six months," said the company.
EasyHotel shares were down 4.0% to 79.20 pence per share on Thursday afternoon.
