LONDON (Alliance News) - Payments company Earthport PLC said Tuesday it has secured a contract with FX4BIZ SA, a Belgian payment service provider licensed by the National Bank of Belgium.
Under the contract, Earthport will provide FX4BIZ with its global payment engine technology, giving FX4BIZ access to Earthport's payment network, to allow for secure cross-border payments for small and medium-sized enterprises.
No financial details on the deal were disclosed.
"We have built a global payment network, giving clients easy access to payment options in over 60 markets via a single application programme interface. We're proud that Earthport's payment network enables the continued growth of companies like FX4BIZ," said Daniel Marovitz, president of Earthport's European operations.
Shares in Earthport were up 1.4% at 18.00 pence on Tuesday morning.
