LONDON (Alliance News) - Cross-border payments company Earthport PLC on Monday said it has signed a partnership with Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC to provide local payment services in Sri Lanka.
Earthport said the deal will expand its payment services partnerships in the South Asia region, having already secured deals in Pakistan and India.
No financial details on the agreement were disclosed.
"We are delighted to be partnering with Commercial Bank of Ceylon to extend our payment network into Sri Lanka. This marks a significant milestone in the continued expansion of Earthport's Asia footprint and the fulfilment of our vision to become a global payment utility," said Sajeev Viswanathan, president of global strategy at Earthport.
