LONDON (Alliance News) - Eagle Eye Solutions Group PLC said Monday that, alongside partner Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, it has signed a deal with Asda Stores Ltd to deploy its digital voucher, rewards and offers software platform 'Eagle Eye Air' in Asda stores.
Under the deal the software platform will be integrated into Toshiba's existing point of sales systems in UK Asda stores. Eagle Eye said the contract will contribute "material revenue" for the company over the term of the minimum contract period.
"This is a major endorsement of our partnership with Toshiba and Eagle Eye's innovative technology offering. We look forward to furthering our relationship and working closely with Asda and its supplier," said Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Eye Phill Blundell in a statement.
Asda Ltd is owned by US retailer Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Shares in Eagle Eye are trading up 6.6% at 191.91 pence Monday morning.
