(Alliance News) - Dunelm Group PLC announced on Monday that Laura Carr will be stepping down as chief financial officer.
The Leicestershire-based home furnishings retailer said that Carr, who joined the company in 2018, will remain in the business until June to ensure an "orderly" handover of her responsibilities.
Carr had previously worked as financial controller of Compass Group PLC and chief financial officer of Indigo Books & Music Ltd before her position at Dunelm. Carr said she was leaving her role to take up a new opportunity outside of retail and the public markets.
Dunelm added that it has seen "strong" trading momentum since its first quarter update in October and will provide its second quarter update in mid-January.
Shares in Dunelm were down 1.6% at 1,334.00 pence on Monday morning in London.
