LONDON (Alliance News) - Packaging firm DS Smith PLC said Tuesday it plans to acquire US corrugated packaging company Corrugated Container Corp for an undisclosed price.
The company expects the acquisition to be immediately "earning enhancing".
The acquisition follows DS Smith's recent purchase of corrugated packaging firm Interstate Resources Inc.
DS Smith Chief Executive Miles Roberts said: "CCC's strong reputation and quality machinery assets will help us to accelerate growth in the region, offering world class products to many more customers."
DS Smith shares were trading up 1.2% at 563.40 pence Tuesday afternoon.
