DS Smith Non-Executive Director Ian Griffiths Announces Departure

LONDON (Alliance News) - DS Smith PLC said Monday Ian Griffiths has decided to step down from the board in June.

The packaging company also said Griffiths will be replaced with the appointment of two new non-executive directors to "further strengthen the board".

"On behalf of the board and the company, I would like to thank Ian for his contribution and commitment to the board and the company during his four year tenure, a period in which the Company has delivered consistent growth, created sustained value for shareholders and entered the FTSE 100," Chairman Gareth Davis said.

"The board would like to wish Ian continued success in the future," Davis added.

Shares in DS Smith were 0.4% lower at 508.20 pence on Monday.
