LONDON (Alliance News) - Construction and engineering-focused services consultancy Driver Group PLC said on Tuesday it expects to report profit for its recently ended financial year ahead of expectations.
Underlying pretax profit for the year to the end of September has been forecast to pass current market expectations, which stands at GBP3.8 million, due to a strong performance during the second half.
Underlying pretax profit was GBP2.5 million in financial 2017.
The UK business in particular saw a strong performance, as well as Driver's operations in Kuwait, Qatar and Singapore. Overall, the group achieved utilisation levels of 80%, up from 76% the prior year.
Driver said it will publish its full annual results on December 11.
Shares in Driver Group were up 1.9% at 80.00 pence on Tuesday.
