LONDON (Alliance News) - Draper Esprit PLC said Monday its dog food portfolio firm Tails.com was sold for an undisclosed amount to Purina Petcare, a subsidiary of Nestle SA.
The investment firm said the sale was executed at a price which was "supportive" of its net asset value as of the end of March. The deal represented an "attractive return" to the firm, Draper added.
Over the last year, Draper Esprit has sold five assets from its portfolio. In December, Draper received GBP15.3 million from the USD119.0 million acquisition of portfolio company Clavis Insight by Ascential PLC. Other sales include Aveillant and Moviepilot.
Shares in Draper Esprit were 1.5% lower at 467.00 pence on Monday.
