LONDON (Alliance News) - Venture capital firm Draper Esprit PLC said Monday it has maintained positive momentum over the first four months of the new financial year.
"Since 1 April 2018, the plc has invested GBP29 million across 8 transactions and a further GBP7 million from our EIS/ VCT funds," said Chairman Karen Slatford in a statement to the company's annual general meeting.
"We have also today announced a GBP7 million (GBP2.3 million from plc) investment in surgical guidance company Endomag, the Cambridge-based pioneers of magnetic sensing equipment that successfully targets and removes cancer," Slatford added.
Draper Esprit remains well placed and look forward to the future with confidence, the chairman said.
Shares in Draper Esprit were up 5.9% at 630.00 pence each on Monday.
