LONDON (Alliance News) - DQ Entertainment PLC Thursday said that its subsidiary DQ Entertainment International Limited is to air The Jungle Book television series in Spanish later this month in the US.
The global entertainment production and distribution company, said that it is to join Spanish-language broadcast television network, Univision Network's Planeta U programming block for children this month.
North American licensing agent, SMC Entertainment Group, Inc., is the rights owner for The Jungle Book for North America.
The company said that The Jungle Book, which is currently available only in English in the US, will air 26 half-hour episodes in rotation in Spanish only, on Univision Network.
DQ Entertainment shares were down 2.9% or 0.55 pence, trading at 18.70 pence per share Thursday morning.
