LONDON (Alliance News) - DQ Entertainment PLC said Wednesday that it had completed 19 deals at an approximate value of EUR37 million, of which EUR12 million is attributable to DQ Entertainment, during its second quarter ended September 30.
It expects proceeds from these deals to impact revenue over the next financial year ended March 31. The deals include four production agreements to produce animated children's shows in Europe and the US. The company also signed 15 licensing and distribution deals, including broadcasting rights for The Jungle Book show, Peter Pan apparel, Iron Man 2 and Jungle Book toy deals.
Shares in the animated content distributor were trading up 6.3% at 21.00 pence Wednesday morning.
