(Alliance News) - DP Poland PLC on Monday said Iwona Olbrys has stepped down from the role of chief executive, effective immediately, ahead of a possible takeover by Polish pizza restaurant group Dominium SA.
The Domino's Pizza franchisor in Poland stated it intends to propose the appointment of a new CEO - who has already been identified - on the publication of an admission document in connection with the acquisition which was first announced in August.
DP Poland said that pending the hire of a new boss, Chair Nick Donaldson and Non-Executive Director Rob Morrish would have "a more active role" in the running of the business.
"The board of DP Poland thank Iwona for her valuable contribution during her tenure at DP Poland and wish her every success for the future," the company said.
Shares in DP Poland were suspended from trading in London.
