(Alliance News) - DP Aircraft I Ltd on Thursday said it appointed Harald Brauns as director with effect from Friday next week.
The Guernsey-based investment firm said Brauns will be replacing Angela Behrend-Gornemann, who will be retiring from her position as a director with effect from Thursday next week.
Brauns will be shortly retiring as global head of Aircraft Finance at Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale. Brauns established the aircraft finance business for the bank back in 1984 and built up a team of nearly 40 employees in Germany, New York and Singapore, financing more than 600 aircraft.
"We are delighted that Harald has joined the board. His extensive aircraft leasing experience with many airlines at all stages of the cycle will be of great benefit to the company going forward," said DP Aircraft I Chair Jon Bridel.
The stock was trading 1.6% lower on Thursday in London at USD0.77 a share.
