(Alliance News) - Marketing automation and customer engagement software provider dotDigital Group PLC posted double digit revenue growth on continuing operations during a "strong" first half.
Revenue in the six months December 31 rose 8.7% year-on-year to GBP27.1 million, from GBP24.9 million. From continuing operations only however revenue rose 15% to GBP23.1 million from GBP20.1 million.
The company discontinued its non-core legacy SMS division in May 2019.
Pretax profit rose by 31% to GBP6.5 million from GBP4.9 million.
Chief Executive Officer Milan Patel said: "We are delighted to report a strong first half year performance, and we are proud of the achievements we have made against the growth strategy. The group has once again delivered double-digit organic growth and positive progress against all strategic objectives, demonstrating the momentum we are experiencing with the growing global adoption of our software and services offering."
Revenue in Europe, the Middle East & Africa rose 5.0% to GBP21.7 million, with US revenue climbing 22% to GBP4.0 million.
In the Asia Pacific region, revenue was 47% higher year-on-year at GBP1.4 million.
Like previous years, dotDigital did not declare an interim dividend and will make a full-year payout.
Shares in the company were 0.8% higher at 107.88 pence each in London on Tuesday morning.
