LONDON (Alliance News) - Doriemus PLC Thursday announced a 100% increase in production from its Brockham-1 well following its stage work-over programme.
The oil and gas investment company said the well, at the Brockham Oil Field in Surrey, is now producing 84 barrels a day of 28 degree crude oil.
The company also said a new side-track well on the shut in Brockham-4 well is still scheduled to be drilled this month to intersect other parts of the reservoir.
A side-track is a secondary wellbore away from the original wellbore which is used to bypass an unusable section of rock or to explore a geological feature in more detail.
The site is operated by Angus Energy No.3 Ltd. Doriemus owns a 10% interest in the Brockham Oil Field.
Doriemus shares were up 2.8% to 0.180 pence Thursday.
