(Alliance News) - Domino's Pizza Group PLC on Tuesday announced the appointment of David Surdeau as interim chief financial officer with effect on Wednesday.
He will be replacing Neil Smith, who is leaving the company on November 26 after a year and a half at the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire-based pizza delivery master franchiser.
Surdeau's most recent role was as interim chief financial officer at Marks & Spencer Group PLC from January to June 2020. Prior to this, Surdeau was a director of Tesco Holdings BV and planning, treasury & tax director of Tesco PLC for over 16 years.
"David has a demonstrable track record of success in growth businesses and his experience and skill set will be invaluable as we continue to execute our strategic plan. I look forward to welcoming him to the group," said Chief Executive Officer Dominic Paul.
Shares in Domino's Pizza Group were up 2.5% at 375.16 pence on Tuesday in London.
