LONDON (Alliance News) - Domino's Pizza Group PLC on Monday said it has appointed Rachel Osborne as chief financial officer, effective from mid-October, becoming the fast-food delivery company's third finance chief in less than two years.
Osborne is currently finance director for group commercial and enterprise at telecommunication company Vodafone Group PLC, prior to which she was finance and strategy director at retailer and department store operator John Lewis Partnership. She also held other finance director and strategy, planning and business performance analysis roles at firms including DIY retailer Kingfisher PLC.
Domino's Pizza has been without a CFO since Paul Doughty resigned from the post at the end of 2015, having served just six months in the role. Doughty had replaced Sean Wilkins who himself stepped down suddenly in January 2015 after little more than a year in the role.
"I am delighted Rachel is joining Domino's at such an exciting time for the group. She has extensive experience of financial and strategic management gained across blue chip retailers and consumer branded businesses, plus a strong academic background. I am confident Rachel is an excellent fit with both the board and the fast-moving culture of Domino's," Chairman Stephen Hemsley said in a statement.
Shares in Domino's were trading up 2.5% at 352.61 pence on Monday.
