Domino's completes international exit with CHF300,000 Swiss arm sale

9th Aug 2021 09:09

(Alliance News) - Domino's Pizza Group PLC on Tuesday announced the completion of its exit from all directly operated international markets with the sale of its Switzerland business.

The Swiss arm of the group will be sold for CHF300,000, around GBP157,000, on a debt-free, cash-free basis, the pizza delivery master franchiser noted.

The transaction is expected to complete by the end of August.

"The disposal of Domino's Switzerland is the final part of Domino's Pizza Group's planned exit from all directly operated international markets and allows management to focus on its core UK and Ireland operations," the company said.

In June, Domino's completed the sale of its Icelandic business for GBP13.7 million.

Shares in Domino's were up 0.2% at GBP423.00 on Monday morning.
