Dollar Slightly Retreats After US Durable Goods Orders, Weekly Jobless Claims

BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The US durable goods orders for August and weekly jobless claims for the week ended September 20 were released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. After these reports, the greenback retreated slightly against the other major currencies.

The greenback was worth 1.2719 against the euro, 0.9492 against the franc, 1.6283 against the pound and 109.22 against the yen around 8:35 am ET.
