LONDON (Alliance News) - Intelligence, media, events and training specialist Dods Group PLC on Thursday said it has purchased a 40% stake of Sans Frontieres Associates for a "nominal sum", in addition to providing the firm with a GBP7000,000 loan for working capital.
Sans Frontieres Associates is an international consulting services and communications-led solutions company based in London which began trading in January this year, founded by Jonathan Lehrle, who most recently served as a partner of public relations and consultancy firm Bell Pottinger.
Dods said San Frontieres Associates "operates globally on issues, campaigns or projects and deals with stakeholders across a wide spectrum of external interests and influences which affect the operations of a client, government or company".
"Dods' strategic investment in Sans Frontieres Associates is an exciting development as the Company is an investment partner which shares a common view of changing client requirements and emerging markets," said San Frontieres Associates Chief Executive Lehrle.
No further details regarding the sum paid for the stake nor the loan provided were disclosed, with Dods stating it provided the loan in addition to "similar loans" made by San Frontieres Associates founding shareholders.
Dods shares were untraded on Thursday, last trading at 12.75 pence per share.
