LONDON (Alliance News) - Dods Group PLC Tuesday said it would split the roles of chief executive and chief financial officer between its Chairman, Alastair Gornall, and Keith Sadler, with Sadler, who has held a combined role for the last 12 months, giving up strategic and operational responsibilities.
In a statement, the company said Gornall will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the business, while Sadler will take the role of CFO.
"Keith and I have very different but complementary skills and experience. As a result the board, including Keith, believes that I should be primarily responsible for the strategic direction and operation of the whole business, whilst Keith will focus on the financial aspects of the business, Gornall said in a statement.
Dods shares were down 5.9% at 3.53 pence Tuesday morning.
