(Alliance News) - Diverse Income Trust PLC on Thursday said Non-Executive Director Jane Tufnell retired at the conclusion of the company's annual general meeting on Wednesday.
In addition, the investment company said it appointed Michelle McGrade as an independent non-executive director with effect from Thursday.
McGrade has a depth of experience as a non-executive director and in advisory and consultancy roles, said Diverse Income Trust. She is currently a non-executive director of M&G Securities Ltd and advisor to the Investment Committee of the Sainsbury's Pension Scheme.
McGrade was previously chief investment officer of Virgin Money and TD Direct Investing Europe, where she was also an executive committee member and chair of the Investment Committee.
Diverse Income Trust also said Chair Michael Wrobel will reach nine years of tenure at the 2020 annual general meeting, and it is intended that he will retire at that time, in line with the recommendations of the AIC Code of Corporate Governance.
The stock was trading 1.2% lower on Thursday in London at 86.79 pence a share.
