LONDON (Alliance News) - Diverse Income Trust PLC said its net asset value per share increased 7% during the first-quarter in an interim management statement published Friday.
Diverse Income Trust, which has holdings in companies including UK Mail PLC, Charles Taylor Consulting PLC, and BT Group PLC, said its net asset value per share on August 31 was 69.3 pence, up from 64.5 pence on May 31.
"Stock selection has added value in the period, but it is also particularly noteworthy how smaller quoted stocks have performed. Although many small cap indices typically outperformed earlier in the year, their share prices held up rather better over the correction and subsequent to 26 June 2013 many smaller company indices have gone on to rise further," the company said in a statement.
Diverse Income Trust shares were Friday quoted at 75 pence, up 0.5 pence, or 0.7%.
