LONDON (Alliance News) - Vodafone Group PLC Thursday said that employees, including its Chief Financial Officer Andy Halford, acquired shares in the company at a price of 219.05 pence per share through the reinvestment of certain dividends.

Vodafone shares were up 4.2% to 225 pence, putting them top of the FTSE100 movers Thursday after the company released its third-quarter results.
