Virgin Money UK PLC - Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England-based lender - Business Banking Director Gavin Opperman sells 100,000 shares at GBP1.93, worth GBP193,074, on Monday.

Sage Group PLC - Newcastle Upon Tyne-based accounting software - Fiona Harding, associate of Non-Executive Director Derek Harding, buys 10,000 shares at 594.63p, worth GBP59,463, on Friday last week. The purchase is Fiona Harding's only holding. Derek Harding is chief financial officer of Spectris PLC, a supplier of precision instrumentation and controls, and joined the Sage board last week.

Aviva PLC - London-based insurer - Noreen Brown-Flynn, associate of Independent Non-Executive Director Patrick Flynn, buys 10,000 shares at GBP3.88, worth GBP38,790, on Friday.

Persimmon PLC - York, England-based housebuilder - Non-Executive Director Andrew Wyllie buys 1,012 shares at GBP29.49, worth GBP29,844, on Friday. The purchase is his only holding. The former chief executive of construction firm Costain Group PLC joined the Persimmon board on January 1.

Altitude Group PLC - Sheffield-based firm operating a marketplace for personalised products - Non-Executive Director Martin Varley buys 52,000 shares on Friday and Monday at 27.9p and 28.0p, worth GBP20,160. Now has 11.0 million shares, a 15.7% stake. Altitude reappointed Varley to the board back in February.
