(Alliance News) - Universe Group PLC on Wednesday said its chief executive, chair, and two non-executive directors all bought shares.
Shares in Universe were down 2.8% at 5.25 pence in afternoon trade in London.
Universe is a payment and online loyalty system provider and said CEO Jeremy Lewis bought 265,163 shares at an average price of 4.90p each for GBP12,993. His resultant shareholding was 532,387 or a 0.2% stake.
Non-Executive Chair Andrew Blazye bought 200,000 shares for an average price of 5.15p each, GBP10,300 in total, taking his holding to 300,000 shares or a 0.1% stake.
Non-Executive Director Malcolm Coster bought 318,368 shares, paying 4.71p per share on average for a GBP14,995 total and taking his total holding to 1.3 million shares or a 0.5% stake.
Ivan Brooks, also a non-executive director, bought 50,000 shares and paid 5.39p on average per share. The GBP2,695 deal represents Brooks' entire holding and gives him a 0.1% stake.
