(Alliance News) - UIL Ltd said Non-Executive Director Christopher Samuel and Mitre Investments Ltd, both purchased shares in the investment firm in two separate transactions on Tuesday.
Charles Jillings is a director of ICM Investment Management Ltd, which is a joint portfolio manager of UIL. The Jillings own 90% of Mitre.
Samuel acquired 50,000 shares at a price of 216.5 pence each, worth GBP108,250. Meanwhile, Mitre bought 200,000 shares at the same price, totalling GBP433,000.
UIL shares closed 0.5% higher in London at 216.00p each on Tuesday.
