(Alliance News) - Doors and windows parts firm Tyman PLC said on Tuesday that its chair Martin Towers purchased 20,000 shares for a total of around GBP40,240.
Towers purchased the shares across three transactions on Tuesday for an average price of 201.23 pence each.
He purchased 5,000 shares at 198.78p, another 5,000 at 199.82p and 10,000 at 203.16p.
It was not disclosed how many shares, if any, that Towers had prior to the transactions.
Toward the end of June, Tyman posted a 24% drop in pretax profit to GBP11.0 million and a 10% drop in revenue to GBP301.9 million for the first half of the year.
Shares in Tyman were up 2.8% at 201.00 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
