LONDON (Alliance News) - Tribal Group PLC said three directors bought a total of 5.7 million shares for about GBP1.3 million.
The shares were all bought at 22 pence per share on Tuesday.
Chief Executive Officer Ian Bowles bought 1.1 million shares, which make up his entire holding in the education support services company.
Bowles assumed the role in March and was former chief executive of Allocate Software, the business software provider which was acquired by private equity group HgCapital last year.
The company also said Chairman Richard Last and Senior Independent Director Roger McDowell each acquired 2.3 million shares. The purchases are their only holdings after joining the board last November.
The stock was up 2.9% at 44.51p Tuesday.
