DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Zambeef Non-Execs Beef Up Shareholdings

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Monday.

Zambeef Products said two of its non-executive directors bought a combined total of 12 million shares last Wednesday.

The shares were bought at a price of 7.95 pence each.

Rhodora Ltd, a trust of which Adam Fleming is a beneficiary, purchased 10 million shares and John Rabb bought 2.0 million shares.

Following the purchases, Fleming and Rabb hold beneficial interests in 25.4 million and 14 million shares, equating to 10.2% and 5.6% of the issued share capital respectively.

Shares in the meat and dairy products producer closed up 10% at 9.25p Monday.

Compass Group said Philippe Op de Beeck has cut his shareholding in the company. Op de Beeck is the catering group's regional managing director for Asia Pacific. The food and support services company said Philippe Op de Beeck sold 43,995 shares at 1,143.00 pence each, leaving him with 46,436 shares. That is equivalent to a 0.00282% stake in the company. Shares in Compass closed down 2.0% at 1,150.98p on Monday.

Recruiter InterQuest Group said Chief Financial Officer David Bygrave bought 12,500 shares at a price of 85.00p per share on Monday, which is his only holding. Bygrave took up the role in December and is the former chief financial officer of financial services technology company Caplin Group. The stock closed down 0.9% at 84.75p Monday.

Coms said Chief Executive Mark Braund has lifted his shareholding in the infrastructure, managed services and smart buildings company. Monday's transaction saw the purchase of roughly 1.4 million shares in the company, taking Braund's total to 10.2 million shares, equivalent to a 0.74% stake. The shares were bought at 1.89p each. Braund was named as the new chief executive of Coms in July 2015, having been appointed to the role of non-executive director in March. He was previously the chief executive of Interquest Group, a recruitment company. Shares in Coms closed up 12% at 2.04p on Monday.

Africa Opportunity Fund Ltd said fund managers Robert Knapp and Francis Daniels each bought 50,000 shares at a price of USD0.635 per share on December 24. Following the transactions, Knapp and Daniels hold 8.4 million and 2.2 million shares, respectively. The stock closed down 1.9% at USD0.635 Monday.

Stellar Diamonds said Chief Executive Officer Karl Smithson bought 117,577 shares at a price of 8.5p per share last Wednesday. Following this transaction, Smithson holds 626,073 shares, equivalent to a 2.4% stake. Shares in the diamond miner closed up 7.3% at 9.66p Monday.

Infrastructure investor and manager John Laing Group said Chris Waples, managing director of its asset management division, bought 23,253 shares at a price of 207.49p per share on Monday. Following this transaction, Waples holds 61,715 shares. The stock closed down 0.5% at 208.90p Monday.

Non-Standard Finance said Non-Executive Director Heather McGregor bought a total of 23,689 shares in the lender last Thursday. 14,000 shares were bought at 84.3249p each by Liberty Trustees, a vehicle connected to McGregor, and 9,689 shares at 84.75p each. Following this transaction, she holds 36,940 shares. The stock closed down 0.3% at 84.50p Monday.

Avation Monday said Chief Commercial Officer Roderick Mahoney bought 20,000 shares at a price of 129.00p per share Thursday. Following this transaction, Mahoney is interested in 300,000 shares representing 0.58% of the total voting rights. The company also said an investment vehicle which Chairman Jeff Chatfield controls has acquired 139,635 shares at the same price. This brings Chatfield's interest to 10.4 million shares representing 20.2% of the total voting rights in Avation. Shares in the aircraft leasing company closed up 1.9% at 134.00p Monday.
